Good news for Illinois seniors-and plenty happening across our state this week. We've passed legislation to raise the income limit for the Senior Freeze Homestead Exemption, bringing much-needed property tax relief to more fixed-income seniors starting in 2026. We're also taking time to honor our veterans and celebrate 250 years of the United States Marine Corps-a proud tradition of service and sacrifice that continues to inspire. And finally, I'm breaking down in my latest "Inside Track" video, the truth behind Governor Pritzker's so-called "transit reform" bill-a costly bailout that raids road funds and forces Downstate families to pay for Chicago's mismanagement.
