Southeast Missouri State University's (SEMO) Harrison College of Business and Computing will host the 2025 ACM Southeast Conference (ACMSE) April 24-26 in Dempster Hall's Glenn Auditorium in Cape Girardeau, MO.

The event rotates amongst universities each year, and Dr. Mario Guimaraes, chair of SEMO's Department of Computer Science, presented to the steering committee in 2022, winning the right to host the 2025 conference. This year's presentations include quantum computers, machine learning, cybersecurity and video games, among others.

For SEMO students and faculty, ACMSE Conference offers valuable access to a professional conference without having to leave campus. It allows the opportunity to present, interact with computing scholars from around the region and attend sessions that cover a wide spectrum of topics. The conferences hosts events including paper presentations, a poster session, tutorials and workshops, keynote speeches, student competitions and cultural events.

No registration is required for this event; however, if an attendee would like to receive meals, they must register and pay a fee. For more information about the ACM, visit https://www.acm.org/.
