The expanded agreement will see the companies collaborate on the technology development and industrialisation of two of Ukraine's most innovative defence solutions: the MAC Dead Fly Interceptor Drone and KATRAN Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) in Europe and Africa.
The announcement comes as the two systems make their international exhibition debut as part of Paramount's showcase at the Eurosatory Defence and Security Exhibition in Paris, one of the world's leading defence industry events.
The expanded partnership builds on the successful collaboration between Paramount Greece and MAC HUB that recently resulted in the development and certification of the MAC OWL (Sova) armoured vehicle, which was approved by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and recognised as the most highly protected locally produced armoured vehicle in Ukraine.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Paramount Greece and MAC HUB will jointly pursue international market opportunities for both systems, explore new variants and mission configurations, and evaluate opportunities for localised production and assembly in selected markets through Paramount's proven portable production model.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to accelerating the development and deployment of battle-proven technologies that have emerged from the operational realities of modern warfare.
The MAC Dead Fly Interceptor Drone addresses one of the most urgent requirements facing armed forces worldwide: protection against the growing threat posed by hostile unmanned aerial systems. Developed in response to the widespread use of FPV and tactical drones on the modern battlefield, the system provides a highly agile and cost-effective capability designed to intercept and neutralise airborne threats before they can reach their intended targets.
The KATRAN Unmanned Surface Vessel represents a new generation of autonomous maritime capability developed to meet the challenges of contested littoral and coastal environments. Drawing on operational lessons from the Black Sea theatre, the system offers a flexible platform capable of supporting a range of missions including maritime surveillance, reconnaissance, force protection, and asymmetric naval operations.
The expanded cooperation highlights the growing maturity and innovation of Ukraine's defence technology sector and demonstrates how battlefield-driven innovation can be rapidly transformed into deployable capabilities with global relevance.
A spokesperson for Paramount Greece said:
"Our partnership with MAC HUB demonstrates the power of combining operational experience, technological innovation and industrial capability. The success of the MAC OWL programme has shown what can be achieved when advanced engineering expertise is combined with the invaluable lessons emerging from the frontlines of modern conflict."
"By expanding our cooperation to include the KATRAN and Dead Fly systems, we are bringing some of the most relevant and combat-tested technologies developed during the Ukraine conflict to European and African markets. These systems address critical capability requirements that armed forces around the world are now confronting, particularly in the areas of autonomous systems, maritime security and counter-drone operations."
"Equally important, this agreement reinforces Paramount Greece's commitment to building sovereign defence industrial capability through partnership. Our portable production model enables advanced technologies to be industrialised, manufactured, sustained and evolved locally, helping nations strengthen both their defence capabilities and their industrial resilience."
A spokesperson for MAC HUB said:
"The expansion of our partnership with Paramount Greece represents an important step in bringing Ukrainian-developed defence technologies to a global audience. The battlefield has become one of the world's most demanding innovation environments, forcing rapid adaptation and the development of entirely new categories of capability."
"Together with Paramount Greece, we will not only promote these technologies internationally but also continue investing in their evolution, ensuring they remain at the forefront of future operational requirements. This partnership creates opportunities for technology sharing, industrial cooperation and joint production that will benefit both companies and future customers."
The agreement forms part of Paramount Greece's broader strategy of establishing strategic industrial partnerships with trusted local defence companies, enabling the transfer, localisation and production of advanced technologies in-country. Through this approach, Paramount Greece continues to support the development of resilient defence ecosystems capable of responding rapidly to emerging security challenges.
Visitors to Eurosatory will have the opportunity to learn more about both the KATRAN Unmanned Surface Vessel and the MAC Dead Fly Interceptor Drone as part of Paramount's exhibition, which showcases a range of next-generation defence technologies developed through international collaboration and battlefield-led innovation.
As security challenges continue to evolve across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and beyond, the expanded partnership between Paramount Greece and MAC HUB demonstrates how international industrial cooperation can accelerate innovation, strengthen sovereign capability and deliver operationally relevant solutions to the armed forces of today and tomorrow.
