Commissioning of Production and Social Facilities in Khujand

On September 22, continuing his working visit to Sughd Province, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, remotely commissioned a number of new production and social facilities in the city of Khujand.
A poultry farm and a poultry slaughtering and meat-processing workshop have commenced operations under Nasli Istiklol Limited Liability Company.

The poultry farm is designed to raise up to 300,000 chickens annually, while the meat-processing workshop has the capacity to slaughter and process up to 190,000 chickens per month. A total of 40 jobs have been created at the two facilities.

To improve the supply of drinking water to residents of newly developed neighborhoods on the right bank of Khujand, two water reservoirs with a combined capacity of 3,000 cubic meters have been constructed. They will provide drinking water to 878 households.

In the education sector, the private Vorison Secondary School, designed for 550 students, and the private Vorison Preschool, designed for 150 children, have been commissioned.

In the healthcare sector, a branch of the Nasl Medical Center has been put into operation. The construction and equipping of the branch will provide 40 specialists with permanent employment.

During his inspection of the new facilities, President Emomali Rahmon gave officials instructions and recommendations on the efficient use of production capacities, ensuring high-quality products and services, and creating favorable working conditions.
