NYSP asking public to help locate man missing from Windsor area

New York State Police at Binghamton is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man who was reported missing on January 3, 2025.

Edward L. Crampton, age 68 has not been seen by his family since around Thanksgiving. Crampton is known to stay in his vehicle on Old Route 17 near ARS Auto in Windsor and known to walk to Mirabito or the Big M but has not been seen at any of those locations in several weeks. Crampton does not drive the vehicle and it is still parked on Old Route 17. It's believed that Crampton does not currently have a working cellphone.

Troopers have checked the area, with local shelters and local hospitals but have not been able to locate Crampton.
