Ramp Closure on Northbound U.S. 101 at University Avenue in East Palo Alto on Thursday April 17 & Friday April 18 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Motorists are advised to use Willow Road detour

San Mateo County ― Caltrans has scheduled a ramp closure on northbound U.S. 101 at University Avenue in East Palo Alto for two nights, April 17 and 18. The ramp will close starting at 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 and open at 5 a.m. on Friday morning. The ramp will close again at 9 p.m. on Friday, April 18 and open at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning. The northbound University Avenue off-ramp will be closed to the traveling public to allow construction crews to perform ramp metering and electrical work.

Motorists are encouraged to continue on northbound U.S. 101 to eastbound Willow Road and turn onto eastbound Newbridge Street to enter westbound University Ave.

All work is weather dependent. Please drive with caution. Caltrans thanks motorists for their patience with the work to maintain our state's highways, bridges, and tunnels.
