On Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, FDNY officials provided an update on an explosion that injured several firefighters at Box 2509 in the Bronx.
FDNY Chief of Department John Esposito said members responded to multiple calls for a fire on Westchester Avenue in the Bronx on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025. When firefighters arrived, they found multiple cars and rubbish piles on fire.
