CTDOT is announcing overhead light replacements on I95 in New Haven on Monday June 15 2026

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that overhead light replacements will be performed on I-95 between Exits 42-51 in New Haven. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, June 15 and be completed on Friday, July 10, 2026. This project consists of replacing the overhead lighting.

This project is being performed by Earthlight.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

There will be various lane closures on I-95 in New Haven between Exits 42 -51 from Monday, June 15 to Friday, July 10, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays. Traffic control signing patterns, state troopers and crash units will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
