Sean Beyer, DO, Joins Munson Healthcare Orthopedic Institute in Gaylord and Petoskey

Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome Sean Beyer, DO, to the Munson Orthopedic Institute teams in Gaylord and Petoskey.

Dr. Beyer is fellowship trained with a subspeciality in orthopedic sports medicine. He has served as an associate team physician for the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and University of Kansas Athletics. He also has significant experience working with high school athletes and covering numerous local high schools.

His favorite thing about practicing medicine is the relationships he gets to form with his patients and their families, guiding them to a successful recovery.

"Every patient who walks through my door has a unique story, set of goals, and lifestyle. By taking the time to understand how a condition affects daily life, we can create a customized treatment plan that helps patients feel heard, supported, and confident throughout their care," he says.

Dr. Beyer attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at University of Michigan Health - West, and his Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
