At Target, we're known for elevated, attainable and affordable style across every category we offer and every experience we create - from fashion and beauty to home and beyond. We're also known for showing up where our guests look for style inspiration - like New York Fashion Week. This year we're back in a big way, with a New York Fashion Week event inspired by our latest campaign, "Forever Fall."
The campaign takes a style-first approach to all the ways fall comes to life at Target - including getting game-day and tailgate ready - and on Saturday, Sept. 13, we brought that fall feeling to NYC with a one-of-a-kind, tailgate-inspired event. The goal: to celebrate our latest launches, incredible history of democratizing design, and all the ways we're committed to quality style that's both inspiring and accessible.
We brought the energy, the style and the looks to New York Fashion Week with an unforgettable Target Style Tailgate event on The High Line. Using our "Forever Fall" campaign as inspo, the experience fused the excitement of game day with the glamour of Fashion Week.
Guests were immersed in a celebration of fashion, beauty, sport and music, all rooted in Target's signature style. Here's how we made fall feel like fall - in a distinctly Target way:
The afternoon came alive with a halftime-style spectacle that was part pep rally, part fashion show, choreographed by the renowned Sarah O'Gleby. The Brooklyn United Marching Band brought the crowd to its feet, while the moves of the Brooklynettes Dance Team set the tone for a stadium-style celebration. Performers were styled by Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, and models wore items from a new fashion brand available at select Target stores, KBB by Kahlana.
Headliner Suki Waterhouse (featured above) lit up the stage with a live performance, and D-Nice and Kitty Ca$h kept the energy high with dance-ready DJ sets. Then the crowd was in for a special surprise: a cameo from style legend Isaac Mizrahi, who previously partnered with Target on an iconic collaboration that set the standard for "style for all."
Next came curated fashion moments featuring dancers, performers and surprise appearances by special guests Natasha Lyonne, Ciara Miller, Devin Booker, Kysre Gondrezick, Sean Kaufman, Aja Naomi King, Julez Smith and more, all styled in Target's Fall 2025 looks. Target's social channels, including the debut of the new @TargetStyle, shared live, behind-the-scenes event content, hosted by actress and comedian Christina Kirkman.
Beyond the stage, guests had the chance to play, sample and indulge.
All in, our New York Fashion Week takeover was fun, buzzy and an exclusive celebration of fashion, just the way we like it. Check out our Fall Edit for more of our fall picks.
