Festival activities include:
Authentic Celtic fare and a variety of beer and other beverages will be available for purchase.
Live festival entertainment includes music and dancing by Ar Ais Aris, Rebecca McCarthy School of Dance, Mulligan Stew, The Academy of Irish Music, Baal Tinne, Thistle & Heather Highland Dancers, Dundee Scottish Pipe, Black Murray, Kennedy's Kitchen, Whiskey Mick, and Ken Dix's They might be Irish.
The Village's Celtic Fest Commission is collecting non-perishable food items and winter clothing item donations at the event. "In addition to collecting non-perishable items, we are also looking ahead to the colder months," says Mayor McLeod. "Our grade school students are in need of warm hats, coats and gloves and we'd love to take your gently worn items to our local schools." All items can be brought to the fest and dropped off at the entrance.
The Hoffman Estates Village Green is located at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway, adjacent to the NOW Arena. Admittance and parking for Celtic Fest are free. Parking is available in the Tate & Lyle parking lot at 5450 Prairie Stone Parkway, which has a foot path leading to the Village Green.
