Greek Council student leaders earn multiple awards at conference

Members of Boise State's Interfraternity, Panhellenic and Multicultural Greek Council executive boards recently attended the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values West Conference in Anaheim, California. More than 700 fraternity and sorority members from over 50 universities across the West attended the conference to learn and collaborate.

Boise State student leaders on the Interfraternity Council, together with Boise Police Department officers Cameron Kolos and Byron Grover, led a presentation about their ongoing partnership - which sets joint expectations, promotes positive off-campus conduct and strengthens relationships between students and public safety. As a result of this collaboration, the council was honored with the Change-Making Experience Award which is awarded to only one university at the conference.

The Interfraternity Council also took home four additional awards: earning Three Stars in the Collaboration category, and One Star in the Accountability, Education, and Innovation categories. Interfraternity Council President, Dominic Mancini, also received the prestigious Undergraduate Change Maker award which is awarded to only one student at the conference.
