KILLEEN, Texas (Jan. 10, 2024) - The City of Killeen's Public Works Transportation Division will be replacing three traffic signals on Second Street beginning Monday, Feb. 3.

The traffic signals at 2nd Street and Avene B, 2nd Street and Avenue C, and 2nd Street and Avenue D will all be removed and replaced with a four-way stop. The removal and installation of the four-way stop is expected to begin Monday, Feb. 3 and last until Friday, Feb. 7, weather permitting.

During this work, full and partial intersection closures may occur. A series of traffic control devices will be in place to detour traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
