47-hour Weekend Off-Ramp Closure on State Route 4 at Harbor Street/Railroad Avenue in Pittsburg

Schedule: Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 5:00 AM to Monday, May 19, 2025, at 4:00 AM

Contra Costa County - Caltrans has scheduled a 47-hour full closure of the Harbor Street/Railroad Avenue (Exit 23) off-ramp on Westbound State Route 4 (SR-4) in Pittsburg. The work is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th at 5 AM through Monday, May 19th at 4 AM. Work will include barrier repairs and safety upgrades. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists traveling Westbound SR-4 are advised to take the Loveridge Road exit.

Traffic Control Measures:

Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time.
