LAVC is closed and classes are not in session from February 13-16, 2026 in observance of the President's Day weekend.

The LAVC Theater & Dance Department is holding open call auditions for its Spring 2026 production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. There are two ways to audition: in-person auditions on February 17 or submit a self-tape by February 18 at 12 pm.

The first day of Saturday classes in the Spring 2026 term is February 21. Check the mycollege.laccd.edu Student Portal for your class meeting time and location.
Need help with enrolling? Looking for answers to your general questions? Stop by the Welcome Center on Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. & Friday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (except on holidays).
Parking permits are required for the Spring semester. The two-week Fall parking grace period for student parking stalls ends on February 22, 2026; employee permits are required at all times in staff parking stalls.
Buy your $20 Spring Parking Permit online and pick up in the Business Office, or in-person at the Business Office for $20. Daily parking permits are also available from a parking pay station for $2 (cash only; selected pay stations accept cash and credit card).
LAVC students can get a FREE 2025-2026 Metro GoPass to ride Metro buses and trains at no charge until September 30, 2026. Pick up your Free Metro GoPass and activation code at the Business Office in SU-143 with proof of enrollment and your picture ID. Learn more about how to get your GoPass.

Come to the Major & Career Exploration Workshop to learn tips on how to narrow down your options, explore career specific requirements, and gain experience on and off campus.

Nine campuses. One rink. Endless good vibes. This district-wide skate party at LA Trade Tech College will bring students together to glide, laugh, and connect across LACCD's nine colleges, celebrating community, unity, and the joy of movement. Please bring your student ID.

The Nursing Preparation and Information Session covers prerequisites, eligibility, application process, and the CSUN collaboration program. Students will learn how to prepare for CORE courses and resources for the TEAS exam.

LAVC Study Away, in partnership with the European Studies Association (ESA), will be offering an information session on its summer French-language study abroad program to Paris.
