"Each new year you go into planting season, you're going to put these seeds in the ground and hope they turn into something," notes Missouri Corn Scholarship Chairman Brian Willott of Mexico. "As an organization, we are proud to support these students in the hopes they remain active and engaged in our industry. This scholarship program is a way for Missouri Corn to invest not only in their future, but the future of Missouri agriculture."
In addition to Willott, the committee is comprised of Missouri Corn Merchandising Council board members Marc Kaiser of Carrollton, Brice Fischer of Rich Hill, and Danny Kuenzel of Washington. This is the thirtieth year Missouri Corn Scholarships have been awarded to students studying agriculture. Applications for the 2027 Missouri Corn Scholarship Program will be available online on or before Dec. 15, 2026.
