Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella and Manchester Police Chief Peter A. Marr announce that law enforcement officials are investigating the suspicious death of an adult male in Manchester, New Hampshire.
At about 9:20 p.m. on January 20, Manchester police officers responded to the area of Barry Avenue and Spruce Street in Manchester, in response to a 911 call reporting in substance an injured male. There, officers found an adult male lying on the ground unconscious with an apparent stab wound to his chest. The injured male was transported to Elliot Hospital, where he has since been pronounced dead.
Anyone who may have information about the incident under investigation is asked to call Detective Guillaume Joffres (603-792-5518) or Detective Harrison Elwell (603-792-5555) of the Manchester Police Department.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available, pending the results of an autopsy to be conducted later today by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
