ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) and contract crews from DeBernardi Construction will begin work on concrete roadway repairs on the eastbound Interstate 80 lanes between Exit 102, the Dewar Driver Interchange and just east of Exit 107, the Pilot Butte Interchange, beginning Monday, August 24. Crews will be switching the current traffic control from the westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes. Drivers will see single lane closures, reduced speeds and narrow lanes while the work is underway. The work is scheduled to take about two weeks.
Crews will need also need to close the Exit 103 off-ramp at College Hill on Monday, Aug. 24, for concrete repairs. The closure will take place during daytime hours and will last two days, with a scheduled reopening of the evening of Tuesday, August 25.
A width restriction of 16 feet will be in effect through the construction zone. The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change. WYDOT is committed to providing the public with update information as work progresses.
