MDOT open house Feb. 25 for US-131 auxiliary lane project in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting an open house to share information about this year's investment to add an auxiliary lane on northbound US-131 from I-94 to Stadium Drive in Kalamazoo.

Project information:
MDOT and contractor Milbocker & Sons, Inc. will be adding an auxiliary lane on northbound US-131 between I-94 and Stadium Drive to increase safety and improve traffic flow. MDOT engineers will be available to answer questions about this $13.4 million investment set to begin the week of March 2, with anticipated completion in mid-September.
