I'm Jesslyn Risser the 2025-2026 Lebanon County Dairy Princess. This year I am making it my mission to inform the public about all the hard work dairy farmers put into making delicious and nutritious dairy products for all of us to enjoy. Growing up on a dairy farm has made me aware of all the sacrifices farmers make to keep their cows healthy. I remember many hot summer days spent milking the cows and stacking hay bales and making sure our cows were cool and comfortable. On our farm, I take care of all the calves and also help my family with milking and other regular tasks that we do to keep our milk a high quality and our cows healthy. Farmers work around the clock 365 days each year through extreme weather to care for all of their animals. My mom always says, "It's funny how the cows get a longer vacation than we do!" As a farmer's daughter I am proud of the hard work and dedication my family puts into our farm. Lebanon county is blessed with many dairy farmers that put that same hard work and dedication into the milk they produce as well.
As dairy princess, I wanted to find a way to connect all consumers in our community to the quality
milk that is produced on family dairy farms that we have right here in Lebanon County. With that I came up with the idea of creating an ice cream trail. I wanted to encourage consumers to choose REAL dairy products which are all naturally packed with 13 essential
nutrients. What better way to show our local dairy farms our appreciation than to celebrate with ice cream!
The 2025 Lebanon Lilly's Ice Cream Trail was created with the help of Visit Lebanon Valley .
For this trail we have cards with each ice cream shop listed. We will be using a stamp and ink pads to mark each stop on the trail once trail-goers visit a particular ice cream trail stop. The ice cream trail will run from the beginning of July through Aug. 30. Once trail-goers visit each stop they can submit the completed trail card for a prize drawing.
The ice cream trail is funded by Lebanon County Dairy Promotion as well as Visit Lebanon Valley, Lebanon County's destination marketing organization (DMO).
The stops on the trail are as follows:
I am so excited to explore this trail and serving this year as Lebanon County's Dairy Princess! Celebrate July as National Ice Cream Month and raise a cone to our local dairy farmers. I hope to see all of you on the trail!
