Media Invitation for Sept. 17 Periodic Review Board
The Department of War will allocate seats for news media to cover unclassified portions of the Guantanamo Periodic Review Board for Mr. Zayn al-Abd Din Muhammed Husayn (a.k.a. Abu Zubaydah) (ISN - 10016) via closed circuit television at the McGill Training Center at Ft Meade, Md., on Sept. 17, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET.
Media interested in attending the hearing should email their requests to [email protected].
All requests must be received by noon Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026. Requests should include full name, position, media outlet or organization and contact information (cell phone and email address).
Selection is based on space availability. Further information can be viewed at the Periodic Review Secretariat website at https://www.prs.mil/.
