FEMA Provides More Than $900,000 in Funding to Support Survivors in West Virginia

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - FEMA has approved $902,933 in funding to support state-managed recovery programs as a result of the June 14-15, 2025, floods affecting Marion and Ohio counties. These funds directly support individuals, families and communities by addressing some of their most urgent needs after a disaster.

Specifically, the $902,933 award is to help people develop a long-term recovery plan and coordinate support with a case manager through FEMA's Disaster Case Management program. A case manager helps individuals and households affected by the floods navigate various forms of assistance, empowering them to return to a state of independence.

FEMA will continue to work closely with West Virginia to support individuals and communities throughout the state-led recovery efforts.
