Free Used Oil & Filter Recycling Event

The City of Bellflower is helping residents go green with a free used oil and filter recycling event on Saturday, April 26. Bring your used oil filter and exchange it for a brand new one-for free! The event runs from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Autozone (10239 Rosecrans Ave.) and is open to Bellflower residents only.

Recycling your oil filter helps protect the environment from contamination while conserving valuable resources like steel and oil. Take advantage of this opportunity to dispose of used filters responsibly and contribute to a cleaner community!

Know Before You Go:

• Limit of up to two free filters per household (must bring old filters for exchange).
• Free oil change recycling kits available while supplies last.
• Used motor oil accepted for recycling (must be stored in a clean container, max five gallons).
• Bring a valid ID (driver's license or other proof of Bellflower residency).
• Vouchers (up to $15 per filter) redeemable during event hours, while supplies last.
