ICYMI: Democrats Launch Second “People’s Town Halls” Nationwide Blitz To Continue Holding GOP Accountable For Hurting Working Families Arrow

As Republicans prepare to go on April recess - after voting to give the green light to cutting lifeline programs like Medicaid in order to fund permanent tax handouts to the ultra-wealthy - the DNC, DCCC, and ASDC are launching a second round of the "People's Town Hall" campaign in key target districts to hold Republicans accountable for refusing to meet their constituents face-to-face at town halls. Across the country, voters are furious and demanding answers, but Republicans continue to run and hide. Here's the bottom line: If Republicans won't meet their constituents, Democrats will.

In the past three weeks alone, alongside the support of state parties nationwide, the DNC, DSCC, and ASDC successfully hosted 71 People's Town Halls in 35 states. In April, Democrats are doubling down and amplifying our efforts to meet voters in districts nationwide.
