Overnight work to briefly close interstate ramp in Fargo early Friday

FARGO, N.D. - Crews are expected to do a lane repair project on the Interstate 29 southbound exit 63B ramp for a short duration early Friday morning in Fargo to create a smoother and safer road surface.
The ramp will be temporarily closed to complete this work, beginning at 3 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2. Repair work is expected to take around an hour and the ramp will reopen as soon as possible. The crew will then perform repairs that will not require road closures on state-maintained roads throughout the metro area until approximately 5:30 a.m.
Drivers are urged to find an alternate route to get from southbound I-29 to I-94 westbound while the exit 63B ramp is closed.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation reminds motorists to slow down and use extra caution in work zones. Up-to-date road conditions and construction information can be found by calling 511 or visiting the ND Roads map at travel.dot.nd.gov.
