Final Round of Forestry, Agriculture, and Rural Markets Cost Share Announced

NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) announced the recipients of the final round of funding through the Tennessee Forestry, Agriculture, and Rural Markets (FARM) cost-share program.

A total of 27 Tennessee agricultural and forestry projects were selected in this final cycle of awards. This brings the overall number of FARM-supported projects to 97 across all four rounds of funding made possible by the State of Tennessee's American Rescue Plan allocation.

"FARM funding invests in the strength and sustainability of Tennessee agriculture and forestry," Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt said. "These projects will help producers modernize their operations, improve efficiency and continue driving economic growth statewide."

The FARM cost-share program was designed to support farmers, forest landowners and rural businesses by helping offset the cost of equipment, infrastructure and supply-chain enhancements. Funding allocated through FARM focuses on building long-term resilience in Tennessee's farms and forests, promoting job creation and improving economic outcomes in rural communities.
