Peoria County Animal Protection Services is raising the profiles of some of the adoptable animals at the shelter through a new series of animal internship videos.

Each week, Paws Across the County puts pets to work with a different county department. From helping the sheriff's office investigate missing donuts to assisting the highway department with bridge inspections, Paws Across the County is highlighting both pets and the people who work in Peoria County government.

The shoots also offer the animals a chance to leave the shelter and socialize with new people.
