EPA updates insecticide strategy
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) last week released a final Insecticide Strategy that identifies protections for federally endangered and threatened species while providing flexibility for pesticide users and growers.
Farm Bureau and other agriculture groups said the final strategy incorporates commonsense improvements that will help make Endangered Species Act implementation easier for farmers and pesticide applicators.
