Celebrate the Year of the Green Wood Snake on the Michael Towbes Library Plaza!

Join the Santa Barbara Chinese School (SBCS) and the Santa Barbara Public Library on February 2, 2025 from 1-4pm on the Michael Towbes Library Plaza. This vibrant celebration of the Lunar New Year will include fun activities like lantern making, paper cutting, calligraphy, shadow puppets, and more-followed by performances by the children of our community. 带上您的亲朋好友与圣塔芭芭拉中文学校和中央图书馆一起欢庆农历新年吧！我们的庆祝活动丰富多彩，包括灯笼制作、剪纸艺术、书法体验、皮影戏等趣味项目，更有孩子们带来的精彩表演为大家助兴。

Schedule:

• 1:00-2:00 pm: Activities, games, Chinese book exchange, and Library scavenger hunt. 春节活动，游戏，中文教材交换及图书馆寻宝游戏。
• 2:00-2:30 pm: Performances featuring SB Chinese School students, UCSB's Jasmine Echo Chinese Folk Band, SUNS Performing Arts, and Chinese Evangelical Free Church Choir 中文学校的同学, UCSB的茉音民乐团, SUNS 舞蹈学院及圣塔芭芭拉华人播道会诗班的精彩表演
• 2:30-4:00 pm: Lunar New Year Food Tasting brought to you by Uniboil & Phresh Teas, Su's Bowl, Kaiju and Shanghai Restaurant. Enjoy a rare exhibit of Chinese Americans in Santa Barbara, brought to you by the Department of East Asian Languages & Cultural Studies at UCSB and the Santa Barbara Chinese American Association…and more! 共享煮道，苏大碗，上海餐馆，Kaiju及其它赞助商提供的美食及更多活动！UCSB的东亚语言与文化研究系及华人协会也同时提供了珍贵的圣塔芭芭拉的华裔足迹展览，邀请各位浏览咱们的历史。
