Opening of secondary school No. 21 in Tursunzoda

On August 14, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during a working visit to the city of Tursunzoda, inaugurated Secondary Educational Institution No. 21.

The modern educational facility was built within the framework of the education policy of the Government of the country and is designed for 1,920 students in two shifts.

This facility has 41 classrooms, 21 of which are subject rooms equipped with all necessary equipment and facilities, including classrooms for language, biology, mathematics, singing and music, labor training and military training. The institution also has an educational laboratory and an assembly hall with 144 seats.

The educational facility also houses a child development center for 60 teenagers.

The Head of State, Emomali Rahmon, during his inspection of the quality of construction work, highly appreciated the quality of education and called on officials and teachers to take greater responsibility for improving the level and quality of education.

Along with the opening of the modern educational institution, 45 specialists in the field of education from the city of Tursunzoda have been employed, of which 44 teachers are women and girls.

The school was built by the patriotic entrepreneur Rasul Usmonzoda and was considered a valuable gift to the students on the eve of the celebration of the great national holiday of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During a warm and sincere conversation, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, guided the teachers to the development of modern sciences, the effective use of new equipment and technologies, as well as the study of natural sciences, exact sciences, mathematics, and foreign languages.

At the same time, the republican and city education officials were instructed to build Uzbek educational institutions in Tursunzoda, taking into account the presence of the Uzbek-speaking population, and provide them with textbooks and other educational materials in their native language.

According to officials, there are currently 132 secondary education institutions operating in Tursunzoda, where more than 78,863 students are enrolled.

As part of the worthy celebration of the great national holiday of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, it is planned to build and put into operation 24 educational institutions in Tursunzoda, of which 19 educational buildings with 8,185 seats have been put into operation to date.
