Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh announced a road reconstruction project to begin Saturday, Sept. 27, on Fayette Street in downtown Syracuse. The project will include milling and paving work on Fayette Street between Bank Alley and Clinton Street. The road will be closed during construction from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with traffic detours in place. Drivers may experience delays and are advised to use alternate routes if possible. The project is expected to be completed over the weekend; actual project timeframe is contingent on favorable weather.
