NEW YORK, NY - May 29, 2026 : Talkhouse, launched in 2013, has today unveiled a new version of talkhouse.com . The website was founded as a home for artists - musicians, actors, and filmmakers - to share their experiences in their respective fields through personal essays, to discuss their peers' work in editorials and reviews, and to have direct conversations with each other. In recent years, the company has evolved into a Peabody Award-winning production studio and podcast network that includes Kareem Rahma's SubwayTakes Uncut, How Long Gone, Blank Check and films such as Björk: Cornucopia.

Now, Talkhouse's new website better reflects and showcases its array of podcasts and film work alongside its daily pieces written by artists. Additionally, the site also houses a mini-site dedicated to Talkhouse Podcast Network and Talkhouse Studio, the latter being the creative studio that focuses on TV & Film production, as well as prestige narrative podcasts including the 2026 Peabody-winning Fela Kuti: Fear No Man.

In tandem with the new website,Talkhouse - the award-winning media company and podcast network that's home to leading titles in the worlds of music, art, food, politics and beyond - has announced a new season of Nobody's Ever Asked Me That , the innovative interview podcast hosted byveteran journalist Nick Dawson, who is currently Editor-in-Chief, Film and SVP at Talkhouse. Premiering this week, with new episodes dropping every Tuesday, the podcast's first official season features a slew of guests from the worlds of film, TV, comedy and music answering substantive, thoughtful questions that get to the heart of who they are as people.

Nobody's Ever Asked Me That, which first started as a spin-off of The Talkhouse Podcast, has featured revelatory conversations with such artists as Saturday Night Live comedian Sarah Sherman , actors and activists Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody , visionary director Michel Gondry , The People's Joker writer-director-star Vera Drew , filmmaker and musician Terence Nance , and actor and writer David Dastmalchian . Nobody's Ever Asked Me That was founded on Dawson's belief that you can have a fascinating conversation with literally anyone - and that journalists should stop asking artists the same mundane, predictable questions! Armed with a long list of queries that addressed essential elements of people's existence - from love, death and family to mental health, dreams and aspirations - Dawson started interviewing artists whose work he loved, asking them questions they've never heard before in an effort to discover a different side of them and understand them better.

For this new season, Dawson's guests include Emmy-winning actor Tatiana Maslany, Emmy-winner and Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning documentarian Kirsten Johnson, comedian turned writer-director John Early, cult filmmaker Zia Anger, acclaimed emerging auteur Goran Stolevski, indie film pioneer Charles Lane, and more.

"I've been interviewing creative people for almost 30 years now, and it's one of my favorite things to do," says Nick Dawson. "But being a journalist for this long has also allowed me to see how easy it is for artists promoting their work to simply be barraged with the same old questions, again and again. What I really love is when I get to sit down with an artist and it feels much more like a conversation than it does an interview, when we get into topics that feel real - when we genuinely connect. For this season of Nobody's Ever Asked Me That, I've thought very carefully about who I truly want to sit down with, who I'm genuinely curious about, and which guests are going to lead to the best conversations. Some of the people you'll know really well, some might not have got their flowers, but they're all amazing artists who go to deep places in their work and in these conversations."

"In a sea of podcasts from the celebrity press tour circuit, Nick manages to have unique, refreshingly human conversations - and, indeed, asks the questions nobody has ever been asked - that show a new side of even the most media-trained interviewees," says Laura Mayer, Head of Podcasts at Talkhouse.
