TIF Funding Approved for Austin Bus Turnaround Upgrades

The Chicago Transit Authority will improve the bus turnaround at Division Street and Austin Boulevard in Austin through $1.1 million in Tax Increment Financing (TIF) support approved by City Council today.
The project includes concrete repairs, curb reconstruction, new windbreaks with canopies, upgraded lighting and employee bathroom renovations.
Funding is being provided from the Austin Commercial TIF district and will cover the entirety of project costs.
