President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Armenia, Nariman Al-Mulla, on the occasion of the UAE National Day.
President Khachaturyan congratulated the Ambassador and the friendly people of the UAE on their National Day, highly appreciating the close and reliable cooperation established between the two countries.
"I would like to once again express my admiration for the achievements and successes the UAE has recorded in recent years. The Republic of Armenia attaches special importance to our countries' relations. It can be noted that especially in recent years we have been implementing intensive joint programs and achieving concrete results. Taking this opportunity, I would also like to thank You for the work You have done. I am convinced that in the near future we will have many more joint initiatives," the President said.
Ambassador Nariman Al-Mulla, in turn, thanked the President for the warm reception and conveyed the greetings of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. She noted that the UAE leadership has great interest in the continued deepening of relations with Armenia and readiness to continue efforts aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation.
"The UAE leadership is truly very interested in deepening relations with Armenia," the Ambassador emphasized.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a range of agenda issues of mutual interest for both countries. They highlighted the importance of exploring mutually beneficial cooperation opportunities in the energy sector, as well as initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency of water resource management.
The importance of expanding institutional cooperation in public administration systems and sharing best practices aimed at improving governance efficiency was also emphasized.
The sides highly valued the positive role of high-level mutual visits in promoting cooperation in various fields and reaffirmed their readiness to continue the implementation of joint programs and initiatives.
