Nominations open for Alfred University Alumni Awards

Alfred University is calling on its community to help recognize alumni who are making a difference, breaking boundaries, and giving back. The deadline to submit nominations is January 31, 2026.

"The Alfred University Alumni Awards are a wonderful way to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our graduates. Every nomination helps showcase the impact Alfred alumni are making in the world," said Christie Swarts '96, first vice president of the Alumni Council and chair of the Alumni Awards Committee.

These prestigious awards will be presented at Reunion 2026, and we're calling on our community to help us identify alumni whose accomplishments and service are worthy of recognition.

"I'm continually inspired by the talent, dedication, and generosity of our alumni. These awards remind us of the lasting mark Alfred graduates leave in their communities and professions," said Danielle Johnson-Kutch '03, president of the Alumni Council.

The awards honor alumni in the following categories:

• Award for Distinguished Achievement
• Award for Distinguished Service
• Rising Alumni Award
• Abigail Allen Award for Service to Women
• Lillian T. Nevins Award for Lifetime Service to Alfred University
