Dr. Grier Williams School of Music presents the Percussion Ensemble in concert

The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the UWF Percussion Ensemble on Monday, Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Building 82 on UWF's Pensacola campus.

The Fall concert, directed by Professor Laura Noah, will feature modern, small chamber percussion ensemble works including John Cage's infamous "Living Room Music" and a rudimental-inspired work called "Trio" by Joseph Thompkins. The program will also showcase beautiful mallet works by Ivan Trevino, James Vilseck and Cody Holmes, and it will finish with David Nelson's new work, "Painted Sky."

This event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. For tickets or more information, visit uwf.edu/tickets or call the CFPA box office at 850.857.6285.
