Under the working theme 'Learning Cities in the Age of AI: Towards Inclusive Digital Urban Futures', ICLC 7 will bring together city leaders, policymakers, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping urban lifeand how learning cities can harness digital innovation to build inclusive, sustainable and resilient futures.
The conference will provide a platform to:
Showcase effective practices in building sustainable learning cities
Review progress across GNLC activities
Advance an integrated learning city approach to support lifelong learning and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local level

Member cities are invited to submit their applications to host ICLC 7 to the GNLC Coordination Team at [email protected] .
Applications must be endorsed by the city's mayor and submitted no later than 15 May 2026.
