TFEC Grant Cycle 3 Offers Nonprofits Up to $38,000 in Funding

Eligible local nonprofits can apply for up to $38,000 to strengthen their programs and expand the services they provide in their communities through The Foundation for Enhancing Communities' (TFEC) current grant opportunities.

"Local nonprofits understand the needs of the people and neighborhoods they serve," said Stefani McAuliffe, vice president of community impact at TFEC. "This funding can help them advance their missions, reach more people and build on the work already making a difference across our region."

Grant Cycle 3 offers five funding opportunities, with individual awards ranging from $1,000 to $12,000. Nonprofits may apply to more than one opportunity if they meet the eligibility requirements.

Applications are open through Tuesday, Sept. 1.

The Madden Family Foundation Fund offers grants of up to $5,000 for programs that support disadvantaged mothers with children in South Central Pennsylvania and northern York County.

The Martin M. Sacks Memorial Fund offers grants of up to $1,000 for youth and family programs serving disadvantaged or underserved communities.

The Mechanicsburg Area Community Foundation Grant offers up to $12,000 to nonprofits serving the 17050 and 17055 ZIP codes. Funding supports programs that improve quality of life in the Mechanicsburg area, including efforts that strengthen housing stability.

The Please Live Fund offers up to $10,000 for mental health education and suicide prevention in Pennsylvania. The fund gives special consideration to programs serving students from kindergarten through college.

TFEC Community Impact Grants offer up to $10,000 for work that responds to local needs and strengthens communities across South Central Pennsylvania.

Applications must be submitted online by Sept. 1. Applicants will be notified of their status by Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Eligible applicants must have nonprofit status or work with an eligible fiscal sponsor. Organizations may apply for multiple opportunities, but they may submit only one application to each grant program.
