Rep. Noelle Kahaian Sworn in, Receives Committee Assignments for the 2025-2026 Legislative Term

ATLANTA - State Representative Noelle Kahaian (R-Locust Grove) was sworn into office as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives on Monday, January 13, 2025, marking her first day of the 2025-2026 legislative term.

"I am so honored to represent the hard-working citizens of House District 81," said Rep. Kahaian. "I am especially excited about my critical committee assignments. I look forward to the hard work ahead."

In addition to being officially sworn in, the Georgia House of Representatives' Committee on Assignments named Rep. Kahaian to the Defense and Veterans Affairs, Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications and State Planning and Community Affairs committees.

The House Committee on Assignments, chaired by House Speaker Jon Burns (R-Newington), is charged with making all House committee assignments for the members of the Georgia House of Representatives.

Representative Noelle Kahaian represents the citizens of District 81, which includes a portion of Henry County. She was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2024 and currently serves on the Defense and Veterans Affairs, Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications and State Planning and Community Affairs committees.
