The City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the launch of a free After School Program for children and teens ages 6-17. This program will run Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with 6 p.m. being the latest time for child pick-up. Parents are responsible for transporting their children to and from the designated center, which will be assigned based on the child's school location.
· McIntyre Community Center (Grades K-5)
· Highland Gardens Community (Grades K-5)
· Sheridan Heights Community Center (Grades K-5)
· Chisholm Community Center (Grades K-5)
· Goodwyn Community Center (Grades 6-8)
Parents can easily register their child or teen for this free program at FuninMontgomery.com. The After School Program offers a variety of engaging activities, including homework help, open gym time, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and much more.
For additional information, parents are encouraged to call (334) 625-2300. This initiative aims to provide a safe and enriching environment for children and teens after school, fostering both educational and recreational opportunities.
