Parrish Healthcare and OurLegacy Celebrate Lives Saved in 2024

TITUSVILLE, FLA. (January 24, 2025)-Parrish Healthcare and OurLegacy, a leading Central Florida-based organ and tissue donation organization, are proud to announce the profound impact of organ donation efforts at Parrish Medical Center in 2024. Together, the two organizations helped transform lives through the selfless gifts of donors and their families, highlighting the vital role of organ donation in saving and improving lives.

Last year, six individuals were freed from the confines of dialysis treatment, receiving life-saving kidney transplants. Additionally, two people were given a second chance at life after overcoming liver failure, thanks to successful liver transplants.

OurLegacy, in partnership with Parrish Healthcare, continue to raise awareness about the urgent need for organ donors. Across the nation, thousands of individuals are waiting for the chance to lead healthy, full lives. These eight success stories from 2024 exemplify the life-changing results that are possible because of those who elect to become organ donors.
