SCDPS Reports Seven Killed On South Carolina Roadways During Memorial Day Weekend

COLUMBIA - The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of seven persons killed on South Carolina roadways during the holiday travel period for Memorial Day weekend. This travel period ran from Friday, May 22, at 6:00 p.m. through Monday, May 25, at 11:59 p.m. For comparison, there were eight people killed on South Carolina roadways during the same holiday travel period in 2025.
