Lane closures on U.S. 24 in Jackson County for ADA work, NOW - OCT. 31

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct daily lane closures on U.S. 24 from MO 291 to Salem Dr. beginning NOW, Monday, September 21 until Saturday, October 31 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. All work is weather permitting and dates are approximate.

This work is for ADA Improvements which includes replacement of curb ramps/sidewalk, curb & gutter, cross walk and stop bar pavement markings, and pedestrian signals at the intersecting roads between MO 291 and Salem Dr.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
