Congressman Flood Applauds Bipartisan Passage of NDAA, Investment in Offutt Air Force Base

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement following the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for FY 2026, which provides for annual defense spending, secures additional funding for Offutt AFB, and delivers a 3.8% pay raise for all U.S. service members.

"This must-pass bill authorizes annual military spending and represents a robust investment in America's national defense. I am pleased that members of our Armed Forces will receive a 3.8% pay raise and that we're investing $42.35 million in Offutt Air Force Base with three projects related to the new Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC). As we continue to work to grow the future of Offutt, these investments will ensure that the base stays strong for years to come."
