Addis Denounces Recent Hate Incident in SLO County

SAN LUIS OBISPO - Assemblymember Dawn Addis (D-Morro Bay) released the following statement following the arrest of a man in San Luis Obispo Sunday night:
"The recent incident of someone dressed in KKK garb is abhorrent and cannot be tolerated. Hate-fueled organizations like this have a long and traumatizing history of terrorizing communities and committing violence. We cannot ignore this brazen disregard for that harm. Thank you to every community member who is speaking up and continuing to work for good. No one should feel unsafe in San Luis Obispo or any community.
