Rep. Manning Applauds Controlling Board Approval for Multi-County Correctional Facility Improvements

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) - State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) is pleased to share that the Ohio Controlling Board today approved the release of capital funds for $200,000 to support facility improvements at the Multi-County Correctional Center.

"As facilities get older, it's important that we invest in them and make necessary upgrades to maintain the building and keep Ohioans safe," said Rep. Manning.

This funding will be used to replace exterior doors that have deteriorated due to structural settling and corrosion, and are no longer providing an adequate secure perimeter.

The current total general housing capacity for the Multi-County Correctional Center is 220 incarcerated persons. The facility has been in operation since 1999.
