Fairfield Nightime Pavement Maintenance Project Begins September 16

The City's Annual Pavement Maintenance Project begins microsurfacing Wednesday, Sept. 16, on portions of Auto Mall Pkwy., Gateway Blvd., Alaska Ave., Webster St., Woolner Ave., Pennsylvania Ave., Gregory St., Park Ln. and Cunningham Dr.

Most work will take place at night, with traffic control beginning around 7 p.m. and roads expected to reopen by 6 a.m.

Expect temporary closures, detours and delays. Driveway access may also be temporarily restricted in active work areas. Work is scheduled through Sept. 28, weather and conditions permitting. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes. Visit www.fairfield.ca.gov/streets for more information.
