MNEA Progress Awards: Seeking Nominations

The MNEA Progress Awards recognize outstanding contributions by MNEA members that benefit their local constituencies or communities in the areas outlined by the Human Rights Council Committees: EMAC, SEAM, SOGI, and WIC.

The Human Rights Council is dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights within the Association and public schools. The HRC provides fundraisers, education, and training to members of MNEA on human rights issues, working to create a culture of respect and inclusion within the Association.

The Human Rights Council consists of the following committees:

Award: The recipient receives a scholarship to attend either a Missouri NEA or NEA conference or training. This award is presented during the MNEA Fall Conference.

Nomination Deadline: October 1

Nomination Process: Nominations should be submitted using the provided form to the Missouri NEA President. The Board of Directors determines the honoree.
