Due to Weather Delays Deen Still Road West Will Remain Closed Until Aug. 10

Bartow, Fla. (Aug. 3, 2026) - A portion of Deen Still Road West in Lakeland will remain closed until 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10 for concrete deck replacement work which was delayed due to inclement weather.
Deen Still Road West will remain closed to through traffic approximately 4,375 feet west of the Deen Still Road West and Moore Road intersection until concrete deck replacement work is completed.
The closure is part of a Villa-Fuerte Construction, LLC. project.
Traffic will be detoured on Moore Road, State Road 33, Green Pond Road and Rockridge Road.
Residents are asked to plan alternative routes as needed.
