DJ Mad Linx Links Up with SIAC Commissioner Dr. Anthony Holloman to Spotlight HBCU Tennis Growth

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. (October 16, 2025) - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), in collaboration with The 40 All Foundation, is celebrating a milestone moment for HBCU tennis during the 2025 SIAC Fall Tennis Tournament, hosted at the South Fulton Tennis Center in the City of South Fulton, Georgia, from October 15-18, 2025 (with October 19 designated as a rain day).

As part of the tournament's opening activities, DJ Mad Linx - renowned media personality, cultural curator, and member of the tournament's event planning committee, formerly of BET, Tennis Channel, and ESPN - linked up with SIAC Commissioner Dr. Anthony Holloman for an exclusive courtside conversation on the growth and visibility of HBCU tennis.

"This is our first fall men's and women's open invitational, so we're just excited to give them this opportunity," said Dr. Holloman.

"I want to thank Herb White and Joe Lewis for making this possible."

Dr. Holloman also expressed appreciation for the attention the event is bringing to SIAC student-athletes. "Thank you for giving our student-athletes this attention," he added.

The conversation reflects the renewed energy surrounding HBCU tennis and the shared vision between the SIAC, The 40 All Foundation, and the City of South Fulton. Together, these partners are working to expand access, competition, and community engagement opportunities for college players across the region.

The 2025 SIAC Fall Tennis Tournament features men's and women's programs from across the conference, including Albany State University, Benedict College, Clark Atlanta University, Savannah State University, Spring Hill College, Tuskegee University, Edward Waters University, and Le Moyne College.

A highlight of the week will be the VIP Reception hosted by The 40 All Foundation on Thursday, October 17, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the South Fulton Tennis Center. The reception will celebrate student-athletes, coaches, and community partners, featuring special guest Donald Young Jr., former ATP world No. 38 and Atlanta native.
